Your firm accepts this addendum with the terms when it creates its account.
Who does what
Your firm decides what client data goes into Casehand and why. Entropic LLC, which operates Casehand, processes that data only to provide the service to your firm.
What we do with it
- We read the notices you upload, propose deadlines, and keep the records your firm creates.
- We do not sell client data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Subprocessors
Cloudflare is the only active subprocessor. The subprocessors page lists every subprocessor, and a planned one receives no data until that page marks it active.
Where data is held
Data is held by Cloudflare. Our database runs in eastern North America today, but no location restriction is set, so we do not promise that data stays in the United States.
Security
The security page describes our controls.
If something goes wrong
If we learn that your firm's data has been accessed without authorization, we will tell your firm without undue delay and say what we know.
Government requests
If a government agency asks us for your firm's data, we notify your firm unless we are legally prohibited from doing so, and we challenge requests that are overbroad.
Deletion
Your firm can ask us to delete its data, or to close its account, through the contact page. We delete it within 30 days of the request, and within 30 days after a subscription ends. Backup copies age out within 30 days after that. The retention schedule has every period.
